![]() ![]() this should net you 1600 base armor, 2800 with arcane tanker active. all 3 umbral mods, max out your str, don't really bother with any other stats because iron skin is not affected by those, make sure to add a carapace mod and maybe amar's hatred. So honestly, factoring in arcane tanker, you might just want to go with like. nothing at all.Īt this point, your base armor value has reached so high that adding more armor is less effective than multiplying via a higher amount of power strength. outside of that it'll give exactly the same bonus with parasitic armor, elemental ward or just. On question, how would arcane tanker factor in? I use that and arcane energyĪrcane tanker adds a flat amount of armor, and thus the amount of base health it gives to iron skin is only affected by power strength. That's an awesome answer and a whole lot of math! Thank you! defy is sliiightly worse than having elemental ward on cold. TECHNICALLY strength is probably the hardest scaling stat but its also the stat you can get the least of/the one that requires the most investment and empower is a flat 0.5x more strength so it's not that great.ĭefy would also work the same way as parasitic armor since it just slaps on 1500 extra armor, but sadly the subsume version is maxed at 750 while with just redirection, parasitic armor nets you 1110. especially on regular rhino (Which has increased armor but not increased shields, making armor mods and elemental ward less effective on regular rhino while parasitic armor stays the same). theoretically, if your base armor was a bit higher, elemental ward would be more worth it, but it aint with current armor values. The main reason why parasitic armor works so well is because it combines with your finalized armor rather than increasing the multiplier on your base armor. With the armor calculation plugged in its as follows: Iron skins math (for rank 30) is as follows: Parasitic armor grants you 1110 armor if you have maxed out redirection in your build. Parasitic armor with no shield mods: 17340 iron skin health. No helminth ability: 12840 iron skin health this is all pre-taking damage to boost iron skin. Using rhino prime's numbers, maxed out umbral set for umbral fiber, assuming that the build has 200% str for every build (just for ease), maxed out redirection. So i decided to do some quick math to back this up, it sounded correct but eh, individual verification is always nice. I'm not sure what you have against Redirection but if you want the big Iron Skin numbers you'll want to use it. Parasitic Armor without a doubt is the best option for an Iron Skin build IMO. ![]()
